Hi
3 weeks is really the maximun you can use as holidays, with the whole year in perspective ! Considering you are on Summer you'll need the readjust your season because normally people take 3 weeks off in Winter... Moreover it is recommended to have an active holiday and not 3 quiet weeks Good luck |

The break wasnt really planned!!! Stupid thing is I ran about 30 miles in the first week but the next week was holiday time, although I didnt eat bad and didnt drink!!! I'm concerned that I have some sort of virus or something as I've been pretty rundown lately picking up little illnesses and getting constant coldsores. Basically my season has been pretty much ruined so I suppose I can just get back to full fitness and train like a mo-fo over winter!!!!

I took five days off because I took a chunk out of my quad riding off-road, and I couldn't pedal without pain. I felt fantastic on that fifth day. I probably needed that recovery time, though it is a lot. Three weeks is pushing it. Good luck! |
