Here's my very recent dedicated SS conversion: Since I already have a couple of fixed gear bikes, I wanted a SS bike for long rides which involved a lot of long downhill runs.

Great conversion. The clean, uncluttered lines of the bike look awesome. How's she ride?

Thank you! It rides really well......as it was my primary geared road bike for over a dozen years.
In June I did a hilly double century (200mi) ride when I initially converted this bike into a fixed gear. The long descents were pure torture and the constant spinning downhill drove me nuts. After that ride I decided to install a freewheel cog on this bike and use it strictly as a singlespeed. ![]() |
