Hey,
I'm looking to purchase a bike tough and comfortable enough for medium to long distance road riding in 'real world conditions' (i.e. some capable of dealing with a little bad surface and the odd gravel path etc.). I'm planning to tour in italy next year. Looking at the bottom of the market I've seen the 'triban trail 7' in decathalon. Refered to as along tour bike this seems to be up to the job. I don't expect it to be amazing for the price (£280) but it appears to be equiped in the correct fashion (padded suspended saddle / comfortable riding posision / equiped with racks etc). I'm looking forward to putting the leg work in but I want the comfort to make it realistic to enjoy the journey over long rides and everyday A to B trips. Any opionions or suggestions would be very much appreciated? Thanks |

Have you though about a used Dawes Galaxy?
I've had one for 11 years and it's still as good as the day I bought it. |
