Question Which freeride hardtail?

Any recommendations on a good hardtail - tough enough for jumps/dh/trials etc? I have a budget of around AUD$1500. Bikes that have caught my interest so far include: Kona Stuff and Norco Sasquatch. I have also heard good things about Rocky Mountain bikes... any other brands I should be looking for?
Any help appreciated. Cheers!

Look at the Cove brand and Salsa brand...I own both, and they're bullet proof
