Default any opinions about Merida crossway?

Hello, i am getting a bike for the city and I was about to buy TREk 7300 over Scott p4, but now I found this similar model, Merida Crossway 8 or even better, Crosway 100-D with disl brakes, but I canīt find any review or comments of these models to compare them with the Trek. Does anyone knows about these bikes? I have muy doubts about the adjustable Headset in Merida 100. If this a treal plus for a bike? I have seen cheaper models with this kind of headset, I think if you take it to the lower position, your hands will be to far away for this kind of bike, but I am not sure really, I am a newer

Thanks for your help
