Raced on Sunday, in torrential rain, pt worked fine. Cleaned my bike up afterwards and everything worked fine. Next day spin the rear wheel and power jumps irratically around 300 to 500. Zero watts out and repeat and everything is fine. 10 minutes later spin the wheel and watts jump around again.
Take the cover off to see if there is any condensation inside and it's bone dry. Put the cover back on and spin the wheel and get speed but no watts. Icon is flashing. Take the cover off again just to make sure everything is fine and put the wheel back on, and now I don't get the flashing icon. Change batteries and still no icon. Test mode with a magnet and sensor through connection to cpu is good. put it all back together and still no icon or any info whatsoever. Any thoughts? I will be giving Saris a call in the morning. But was wondering if anyone else might have encountered the same problem. |

did you try resetting the powertap computer via holding both buttons down until you get to the setup page? it may not hurt to try.

Yes I tried that. I tried running as a cyclocomputer with a magnet and it worked, that verified that my sensor is working. I seem to have lost signal from the wheel. I've tried the wheel on another bike and it doesn't work on that one either. |

Put on your lap top or desk top and re-set CPU.
