ok just like the title says how do you raise the handlebars on a specialized sport , mine seems a little low and causes my hands to go to sleep leaning over on them .

Do you have bar ends fitted ,i find that changing your hand position,i open my hands flat across the bar ends, this prevents my hands from snoozing,i also use long fingered gloves the exta padding, pads that nerve on the little finger. My bar ends are also wrapped to give just a little extra grip and comfort. ![]()

I had the same hands going to sleep issue with my Trek 6500. I tried a new stem with a bigger angle and it helped but did not do it. I next tried an adjustable stem made by Ritchie and that did the trick. I have also added a pair of grips which have some flats that provide a little more support on the palms and they helped a bit.
