Newbie based in Perth (Subiaco). Have been doing mainly flat work to get used to my bike and cycling, but now need to involve some hills.
Anyone from Perth give me advise on some good hills I can aim for from Subiaco area. Any advice appreciated. |

Also bold park to your west - a lap there can take you up reabold hill. One of the best climbs in the western suburbs. |

Kings Park is a good choice. Or... you could do 20K E from Subi and go Welshpool Rd. up to Kalamunda. That will be a bit more challenging that Kings Park.

A very kind person has put up this route at Bikely.com and called it "Hills of the Western Suburbs". It might suit you. ![]() |

Thanks everyone - good input and I am close to most. Might leave the Welshpool Rd option for a while!!!
