Hey, I am from Ontario and am kind of new to biking. I have always had a bike, just a Supercyle Hooligan but I am looking for something better. I have narrowed it down to do bikes. The Norco Katmandu and the K2 Zed 2.0. They both cost about 445 dollars. I am very stumped and need your help. Here are the links to the bike. Vote for which one you think I should get. Here are the two links:
K2 Zed 2.0: http://www.sportchek.ca/sportchek/do...&styleId=43681 Norco Katmandu: http://skiisandbiikes.com/shop/bikes/Norco-katmandu.htm Not to mention, this is a nice site! ![]() |

At the $400-$500 price point, I would not pick either bike. Instead, I would buy used, or buy from somewhere like www.bikesdirect.com.
To me, these two choices are much better bikes for the same money: http://www.bikesdirect.com/products...r_cliff4900.htm http://www.bikesdirect.com/products...ecane_700HT.htm

+1...but it all depends on where you'll be riding. Both bikes suck on asphalt, they're not great climbers, the Norco will make you work harder with those fat tires Just a long way of saying that the bike should suit the ride...sometimes you can find a good used one, but take care to check it over very carefully |

I'm not going to be doing a lot of trails. Just easy ones on dirt and stuff. I will mostly be hitting little jumps and what not.
