So I finally got to set-up the Hennessy Hammock I bought like a month ago.
I packed up the hammock and a summer weight sleeping bag in one bike pannier. I also stuffed a camera in there with a bit of room to spare. ![]() I buttoned up the bike bags and headed for the park. ![]() Picture of the tree hugger and "figure of 8" lashing. ![]() View #1 of hammock without the rain fly installed. ![]() View #2 of hammock without the rain fly installed. ![]() View #1 of hammock with rain fly installed. ![]() View #2 of hammock with rain fly installed. ![]() Picture of the entrance at the bottom of the hammock. ![]() You get into the hammock by backing into it from the bottom and sitting down. ![]() After sitting down, your pull your legs up into the hammock and the opening snaps closed. ![]() Getting into the sleeping bag took a bit of squirming, but after I got in, it was quite comfy. ![]() The hammock back in its stuff-sack ready for the trip home. ![]() |
