Hi everyone! I plan on buying my first road bike this month. The thing is I am only about 4' 10" with sneakers on. So finding a bike shop that has a bike small enough for me to test ride has been a problem. I have been on a Specialized Dolce Elete and a Felt Fw4. Now, the Elete is about $400 more and I really couldn't tell any difference when riding the two. Any suggestions from women who own either bike? I will probably be riding 3-5 days a week at around 10-20 miles ride. Thanks!!

My impression (which may be incorrect) has always been that Georgena Terry is about your height ... consequently, I think her bikes may be better suited for riders between your height & about 5'2" ... but, there are Terry bikes for larger riders, too. |

Search the forum for posts by "Little Jackie", she rides a Felt F100-650c, 47cm frame, and is 4'11" on a good day.
