CYCLISTS looking for the ultimate cycling adventure are invited to take the Lancashire Loop Cycle Challenge and help raise thousands of pounds for children across the North West.
Children’s charity MedEquip4Kids is once again organising the successful Lancashire Loop where cyclists can ride either 45 miles or 100 miles exploring rural northern Lancashire on Sunday, September 30 2007. Now in its third year, the Lancashire Loop raised more than £6,000 for MedEquip4Kids in 2006 as more than 150 riders enjoyed cycling through spectacular countryside, picturesque villages and quiet country lanes. The circular bike ride sets off and ends in Cockerham, near Lancaster, and can be a challenge - but cyclists will be rewarded with breathtaking scenery and long downhill sections. With the choice of a shorter 45-mile route, it is perfect for families where children are experienced cyclists. All that is needed is £25 sponsorship money along with £10 registration fee. For more details, visit www.medequip4kids.org.uk or call 0161 798 1600. |
