Default Hey Sandbaggers You Know Who U R

Why do you ride cat 4-5 when you are beating the cat 1-2 in RR times, and best TTer in the state? Is it so you can tell your wife, kids, friends how you beat everyone? Does it make you feel like an achiever to not have competition? I may sound a little bitter, and yea I am. I cant wait to get my 7 more points for a cat 3. I'm sure the competition in cat 3 will have less sandbaggers since they are in cat 4-5. And it may really be nice if I ever make a 2, then I dont have to worry about the scaredy cats who sandbag. Oh well, I lost today to the strongest man in the state. Makes me feel better, but get the F out of 4 dude Let me win some more.

Damn, I feel better

By the way, you have 32 points, 12 over what you need to make cat 3. So whats the excuse?

That is interesting. Why wouldn't folks want to compete with stronger cyclist and teams is beyond me as well. Is the guy trying to help others on his team gain points?

No , all his teamates are 3 and above I was thinking it may be for the money. Not much but it may pay his cable bill , car insurance or something dunno. Or for bragging rights? I was hoping some baggers here would explain it. I know they are here.

We have a guy here who is a Cat V with 18 mass start races. He places fairly well in all of his races but seems to have no intentions of catting up. I'm not sure why really but it really ticks me off...like I want anyone to win the race, EXCEPT for him.

To the OP: Your location says AZ, but perchance are you refering to S. California? There are a couple of cat4 guys from Cal that posted some outragious times for the VOS TT here in AZ earlier this year. I wasn't in the same cat so I didn't follow their progress beyond that. Anyway, they beat all the 3's and a good portion of the P1,2 field. Seemed odd, but then again I haven't a clue about their history...

As soon as I got my 10 starts I up graded, I couldn't wait to get out of 5. There is no money to be won, and lots of crashes. Now I cant wait to get to cat 3. I am driving 186 miles round trip once a week to a race to get my points, and so is this bagger I'm speaking of(he lives near the race). The top riders me included decided to let this idiot race alone. We could maybe gang attack him, but we dont want him to have any fun racing with us. Besides, he would probably still beat us. Perhaps he will get board and move on.

A team I raced for had guys who won Cat. 4 races regularly but would race in Cat. 5 races as well. I was essentially kicked off the team for commenting on how this was sandbagging on the team mailing list. More excuses then VdB has for doping products at his house.

My goal is to one day be accused of sandbagging.

To the OP. Regarding the Pichacho TT. How did it go this Sunday? Did you tell the sand bagger of all time to go pound sand or what? Or did you get pounded again?
