Default Recommended Upgrades ??- Prophet

Hi all,

I currently have a 2005 Prophet 800 (specs below). I use it for mostly XC work and am starting to do longer distances on it (even thinking about some solo 24 hr events on it). I'm starting to find it a bit heavy and am wondering what upgrades anyone would recommend to save weight/improve performance?

Thanks very much, Pete

Its all going to cost however for a start you could look at your tyres & pedals

Maybe Schwalbe Nobby Nics or Racing Ralphs would save maybe 200 gms each
Pedals maybe Ritchy V4 Mountain or Crank Bros Eggbeater SL maybe another 70-100 grms

Also think about a Stans No Tubes kit maybe another 200 or so gms
Easton Monkey lite bars (-100+gms)

There's about 1kg plus for maybe a few hundred dollars
