I am cycling with a local cycling club and lately noticed that I enjoy it less and less.
The main reason is that every ride end up being a race and groups brake apart. How do I get a group to stay together, race up the hill but regroup, pace line, help each other? This is a culture change question. Long post but it reflects frustrations… |

Join a different club with a different culture. Or suggest that there be two bunches for the ride. Fast and not-so-fast.
