Question Advice please

Hi, i have up to £1000 to spend on a road bike. i am hoping to take advantage and buy one through this uk bike to work scheme, could anyone recommend what is a good value bike, i am beginner / intermediate level but keen to get more involved. A few people have recommended a Planet X bike, can anyone else recommend a bike or agree with this?

I just want to make sure I get the most for my money... it is a strict limit of 1k, sadly anymore involves paper work my company is just not willing to do.

thanks for you help.

Best value I have seen tested and recommended is the Focus Cayo for £999 on www.wiggle.co.uk. Magazine's have rated it quite highly..

Good luck

Go & have alook at the Felt bicycles.. You can pick up a good bike there from £700... My friend just bought one after months of trying different bikes.

But it all depends on the rider, probably the best thing to do is go and try a few different bikes out.

Happy days shopping.
