I'm new to cycling, and i read all these things about keeping electrolyte levels up. I know that gatorade and powerade has potassium and sodium, but that's about all i know. What other types of drinks are high in electrolytes that's practical to drink in large amounts (cheap). Are there any powders that you can dissolve in water that have lots of electrolytes in them?
Also, If I were to go out and bike for an hour, how diffferent would I feel if i kept hydrated w/ gatorade than if i only drank water Thanks. |
