Default How to become a Professional Cyclist?

How do you become a Pro cyclist? and how many ways can you achieve this?

What should a Pros average speed be? How many miles should they be able to last? What kind of conditions should they be able to ride thru?

Regards,
Josssshua

Start riding seriously. Sign up with a local team and begin racing. Get a coach to help you with your training programme. You will find out soon enough whether you have 'a chance' or not.

Best of luck.

Hi, i know 2 PRO from my club:they said it take Dedication and a lot of hard work (and other thing ) to become a PRO. ,

Tyler Farrar ride for Confidis and

My ex-Coach and friend Jason Jablonski 2 times Amateur World Champ. 95-96 Hawai triathlon and he just turned PRO .

I just so him yesterday riding .he was goin up the hill and i was goin down it was very cold 22 F.( with ice and snow here and there )
You will need to ride and race a lot to move up through the Categories, by accumulating Points & Experince, do all kind of races (TT- Road race- Crit's- Stage R. ....)

This is a good Article to start with John Lieswyn:www.racelistings.com/rzone/rzone.htm , go to Ask the Experts,"How Do I Become a Pro Cyclist?"

Have Fun ,Musher
