Default Small Project, Old school Track bike

Hello guys,

I posted some questions about this bike frame yesterday, and although I didn't hear back from anyone on the forum, I was able to find out much more about this bike from the LBS today. Turns out it's the small 24" front wheel track bike from somewhere around 1984. The bike is Aluminum and has a front wheel with sew-up, Mavic aerobars and crank guts, just no cranks or rear wheel. The (missing) rear wheel is a 700c so I'll be trying to track down a cheap used or really cheap new one soon. No brake mounting points so I won't need the flip flop cogs unless I just want different fixed gearing, but no freewheel.

The front sew-up size is 24" and one of the things that I need to ask also ( or find out somehow, somewhere) is whether or not that size of sew-up can even be found anymore. The one on it now is old but holding air, so I'll at least get to ride up and down the block on it if I get the missing parts on it before I find the sew-ups.

The only other thing I need to get is crank arms/chainring and I'll be ready to go. I'll get some pictures up as soon as I get the chance. If anyone has advice or experience with these wierd nose-diving old school track bikes, I'd love to hear anything you have to share. Also if anyone has a set of used single speed cranks or a fixed rear wheel on a 125mm hub sitting around, please let me know. Thanks.
