Default cycling after having teeth pulled

i was wondering if anyone had any advice about egtting back on the bike after having teeth pulled. i just had all 4 wisdom (molars) removed last wednesday, and im looking for advice on when would be ok to start riding again. ill obviously ask my surgeon when i see him this week about when's SAFE... but was wondering if anyones had some experience and could maybe offer whatever advice they have. thanks alot

Get back onto the bike immediately! Find yourself a serious hill and climb it repeatedly, as hard as you can for as long as you can. If nothing else, the pain in your legs will overshadow the pain in your mouth!

Jokes aside, your doc will probably advise you to take it easy for a few days. Another thing you should be careful of is a "mouth cold" (I'm not sure if that is the right terminology). The last thing you want is an infection.

haha I had this very same question when i got mine done 3 months ago. I went out training 2 days after. The exercise clears your head/mouth. I also raced that weekend and i had mine done on a tuesday.
Make sure you bring lots of water to spray your mouth out. I remember spitting out stitches at the top of climbs.

Have fun
