Default Carpal Tunnel Question

For those of you have suffer like I do, what handle bars seem to work best for you??

The flat kind you find on the fitness/hybrid models or the drop handle bars??

I am currently using the flat kind and wonder if there is any hope of less pain.

Thanks for your input

Default Re: Carpal Tunnel Question

I would say drop bars are better for carpal tunnel than flat bars. With flat bars it is easier to flex your wrists and aggravate the condition. You really have to be aware of your hand position riding flat bars and change it frequently.

Drop bars, your hands tend to be in a similar position to when you are shaking someone's hand, so the position is more neutral with respect to the wrist.
