Hey,
I wasn't sure which forum to post in, so here it goes. I am considering upgrading my rims through a guy I ride with. It is part of a slow upgrading of my ride. So far I have bought a full Ultegra set in great condition from 1998. I also bought a new stem (3ttt forma). The rims are my next step. He has an old set of FIR EL45's that he is willing to let me buy fairly cheap. They are about 5 years old, but I am assuming better than the Matrix Aurora's that I have been riding (came stock on my Trek 1220 frame in 1996). Does anyone know what the EL45's would have cost originally? Any idea where they used to fall in the FIR line? I looked on the FIR website and they aren't making EL45's anymore. So I really don't have much to go on. Help anyone? Thanks from a newbie |
