I had been looking for someone to post something like this. Here is mine, started racing last season 06 Cat 5-1st,1st,20 something-Lead out teammate for win in a circuit race. 1st, 1st. These were all in the Spring training series in Greenville SC. I did all the races except for one and then I lead my teammate out for the other at BMW. Rock Hill race weekend was next, 1st, 1st, 1st overall. Upgrade to Cat 4.
Raced Savannah Ga Cup, 1st in Crit, I cannot remember all of the results, I raced the rest of the season in this series. Spartanburg crit-5th 3-4 field. Won the overall GA Cup General Classification, the KOM and the Most Aggressive rider competition. Upgrade to Cat 3- Raced Greenville Cycling classic. 3rd on Saturday. Raced on Sunday and crashed-broke collarbone and cracked scapula. Started back this season as a Cat 3-slow start, 16th, 8th. Albany GA race weekend-raced in the Pro 1-2 field-53rd in crit. Gainesville race weekend-5th in crit-7th in RR-2nd overall. Rock Hill race weekend-2nd in crit, 2nd in RR, 1st overall. SC State crit-Saturday Ion village-3rd, Sunday State crit, 1st (SC State crit champion-Cat 3) Walnut Grove RR-Cat2,3 field 4th Edgar Soto Stage race-26th in TT, 1st circuit, 3rd crit, 1st RR, 1st overall Cat 3 That is about it for now, Have not put in for my upgrade to Cat 2 yet, raced the Roan Groan RR this past weekend, with a large Pro field. Finished in the top 20 I believe, I have yet to see the official results. HUMP |

Hump you sandbagging bastard, read the thread started by Zaskar! I raced for a year in college (10years ago)... don't remember the results, but always placed top3 in C5, then had several crashes in C4 and stopped racing (a couple of top 10's in 4's) Couple of years ago took my bike to Brazil with me and rediscovered cycling... came back last year (2006) and renewed my USCF license. 2006: Won several time trials, but save for a 30+ 4/5 crit that I won, no mass start results high enough to get points (Hump was winning!)... always nervous of crashing, so I rode at the front or off the back, and I didn't race much. 2007: Decided to start racing smart and hard, instead of just hard... First race of the season, got crashed while on last lap of a speedway crit while off the front of a 3/4 race as an Appalachian fucktard tried to sprint past me on the inside and clipped my bars hard at 30mph... almost quit racing again as I got really hurt and my bike (Pinarello Dogma!) was cracked. Bucked up and decided to keep going. Greenville series (4): won 2 races by going off with another strongman in a break... upgraded to 3! Gainesville stage race: got sick and felt like crap in my first 3 race... ended up like 17th overall, and a little demoralized. Perry Roubaix stage race: won a circuit race in a field sprint and was surprised since I didn't think I could sprint, 3rd overall for the stage based on 4th TT and 6th road race. Rock Hill: won the sprints (LOL yeah I can't sprint), missed the break that had Hump "sandbagger" in the crit and fried myself with several flyer attempts with no result, then won the road race with a very hard break in which I initiated, then almost fell off at the end to several attacks by Hump... dug deep and used my sprint skills for the winTour de Moore: Won with a flyer from the start line with another C3 strongman... dumb asses were marking us at the start, and then let us ride the entire race off the front without reeling us in So yeah even though I haven't raced much this year I have enough points to upgrade to 2, but I think I will wait until I am complimented by being called a sandbagger too! Besides I still don't have that much skill in pack riding, and I still hate crits. When I win a crit (that isn't for old men) I will upgrade to 2. |
