Teary Eyes riding at speed.
I wear eye glasses and sometimes magetic clip-on polaroids when I ride.
I have noticed that my left eye gets really teary and it is hard to see especially riding downhill at say 40 km/h and above. For example down the Esses and Conrod Straight at Mt Panorama, Bathurst NSW. (It was my first time and I was under brakes in the Esses but got to 67 km/h on Conrod). I hesitate to take my hands off the handlebars to clear my eyes and end up blinking and squinting through my left and right eyes until my velocity reduces. I already wear glasses so additional goggles may or may not be the solution to keep the wind out of my eyes. Does anyone have a suggested solution to this issue? |
