i have a nagging knee problem ( i know i should visit a doctor and i will next week) it started in july when i couldn't bend my leg more than 30 deggres this after a trainning session so i stopped cycling for about 2 weeks and when i tried to train again i could get rid of a disconfort so i stopped for 1 month and half but i didn't to anygood.
( the pain is on top of the knee and it makes it very difficult to bend the knee or put weight on it) so i stopped again a started again till this day I'm better but i can't train right. yes i know it's kind of stupid to try to walk it off. anybody had a similiar problem or have any clues that could send my way. i will tell you guys what the doctor said after my consult thanks |

I had something similar and the root problem was that my hip was out of its proper alignment. It was causing my tibia to be slightly rotated. The pain basically was just above my knee cap. My chiropractor worked on it for about 3 weeks and it came back and I have no issues.

I've been plagued by one bad knee for years. I'm always extremely careful when I'm changing cleats. If you've had this problem for a long time you might want to consider a new pedal system with plenty of float. Also as the other poster suggested your alignment and therefore your position on the bike could be the issue. First get it checked out off the bike (doctor and/or chiro). Than try to arrange a proper sizing fitting with a good bike shop to avoid problems in the future.

Sounds like a meniscus or ACL, to me. I would get an MRI scan, after seeing a doctor.

Medial meniscus, patellarfemoral issue or chondromalasia patella/patella tracking problem. MRI that thing asap. and role out any type of internal derangement. Get it treated asap dont wait anylonger.
