Hwo do you like your KTM bike?
Just wondering since they aren't available in the USA. I like KTM motorcycles and would like a KTM bicycle, probably the 105 level Strada with compact crank. Probably have to go through eBay Germany but just curious as to how they ride.

Hi Lou!
Have been racing KTM motorcycles for almost two decades and have to agree, they ARE special. But nothing special about their bicycles, plain average at best. My old truth: the best bike frames are made in Italy. And the best Italians live in the US (joke). What I want to say is: buy Italian or American (US built)! If you are looking for something really special, something you would be loving for the rest of your life, look for the small frame builders - there are plenty mentioned here in our forum! Some of the notorious names are De Rosa, Pegoretti, Somec, Casati, Mercian, Steelman, Richard Sachs, Sasha White (Vanilla) Bob Jackson, Seven (titanium) and so on. Good Luck, Vincent |
