I have just taken my Avanti Corsa roadie in for a service. The guy said something about the rear bearings going but that they are ok for now. When i got home i found that upon spinning the wheel backwards, the backwheel makes a rattling bearing type noise. Does this mean that it's been overtightened? What should i do?

Take it back!
Ask him to dismantle the rear hub and service the bearings and correctly adjust the cups & cones. There is no excuse for this type of sloppy workmanship! ![]()
