Which is the best HRM to get in terms of features vs cost. I'm thinking polar S-150 or 210. what are some of ur opinions.

Is polar the only company making hrm's. if not, do the other brands have good repute.

I purchased a Polar many year ago and it still works great. Also, to get replacement part (new strap) were very easy from the company.

I´ve been using Polar HRMs for 9 years so far, and Everything has been working without any problems at all. Have Polar Edge(9 years old-still working great) and bought S710i two months ago for cycling. I´m still thrilled about it! I think I love it! Its been a great motivation booster to get more miles on bike and other sports. When choosing the next HRM I compared all the models very closely, decided to ger S710i even it was quite a lot more $:s. Just thought that it is gonno last for so many years that the cost cant affect too much what HRM to get. Also the IR-link to computer works like a dream compared to that older sonic-link system. I dont think there are going to be sonic link types in the future HRM:s so I kinda wanned to stay with the top end technique.

I´m Finnish so that might have something to do why I chose Polar over the other HRMs but I have to say I Really have total confidence in all Polar products even that I had to pay a lot for my piece...

Thanks for creating this great forum everyone...Enjoy your rides, And your Polars... !!!
