Vacationed in Hawaii this year and got a chance to ride up Mount Haleakala on Maui. One of the best rides I will ever remember! A 38 mile climb to 10,023 ft. Took 3 hours, 44 minutes to ascend and about 80 minutes to get back. Ever pace traffic for almost an hour and a half? During the decent only two cars passed me and at the bottom both were no less than 100 meters ahead.
Views at the top were outstanding! More pics and details on my blog at: http://360.yahoo.com/harrigan Guess am no longer anonymous here but have learned never to say anything online that you could regret. |
