how accurate are the calorie calculators on the net? What do you all figure the avg calorie deficit is after 30 miles at avg speed of say 18mph? how about 50 miles?

My powertap tells me I burned about 1075 calories this morning - 28 miles at just above 18 MPH. A quick test on a few sites on the net and it seems like they are saying around 1150-1175, so pretty close. Last Saturday - 47 miles / 18.8 MPH = 1911 calories. |
