Hey there - Just thought I'd post about this charity cycle ride happening on Sun 27 August in aid of Action Medical Research.
It's a 100 mile ride with start points in Bristol and Bath and it finishes just West of London. It's a nice route and includes a pub lunch and return transport for riders and bikes. Action Medical Research funds research into a wide range of areas - one of its most interesting campaigns at the minute is the Touching Tiny Lives appeal, which is researching premature birth and other problems in pregnancy/labour. There's more information about the ride and the charity at www.action100ride.org.uk. It's the Silver Jubilee this year, so they're after loads of riders. |
