Default Help me kit out my frame

Hi,

I have recently aquired a Specialized S-Works HT M5 frame and I would like your views on equipping this frame. I would like to (at some stage) race x-country, age related in the UK. So where to start?

Advice on:
  • group set and wheels;
  • brakes;
  • forks;
  • etc, etc, etc

I have looked at SRAM front and rear mechs and Mavic wheels. I have a budget of around £900 GBPs to get this bike kitted. So, please help me spend my money wisely.

All the best,

Dave
