Default Fizik Aliante or Fizik Arione?

If I'm looking to purchase a comfort saddle do you think I should go for the Aliante or wait it out until the Fizik Arione pops up in October?

Default Re: Fizik Aliante or Fizik Arione?

The Airone is a sort of a mistery, but the Aliante is very confortable.
Maybe too confortable, the problem with this saddle is that they made it very light weight, without a lot of padding (thats good) but with a very elastic structure that flex a lot under you (this can be good or bad depending on what you need from a saddle)
I still prefer a Selle Italia SLR the XP version with vanox rails and a little padding more than the standard SLR (160 grams VS 135 grams)
The problem also with the Aliante is that the "carbon rails" version tend to be very fragile....
try a Pave, less money great saddle. (more weight i know!!!)

ciao
