I recently completed the RAAM 24-hr challenge from Oceanside, CA to Flagstaff, AZ. Much climbing, but so much fun! While cycling along the highway, however, I came to the realization that the sport can be quite noisy-- wind, motor vehicles, voices in my head, etc.
As a part of my doctoral studies, I am conducting a brief survey regarding bicycling and hearing. The survey is not intended to be comprehensive but rather provide some insight as to whether further research is warranted. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey: Bicycling & Hearing Survey Your participation is greatly appreciated. Also, please forward this to your other cycling friends and acquaintances! Thanks, Aaron |
