That is not enough information as I have said before. Are they cable disks or hydraulic? (is there a wire that runs from the lever to the caliper?) If you have not had the bike for long, take it back to the shop. where did you get the bike from? |

Maybe you are having trouble with English. I will assume so. Folks are getting a bit tough with you, but I can sort of understand why. What country are you from? It may be that you have a brand or two that nobody knows. (1) They are _disc_ brakes, not _dic_ (2) I Googled both Jammars and Tekkinfo, and found nothing to do with bikes. It may be an idea to read the names and carefully type them in carefully letter by letter, if you want help. I have seen two spellings for your brakes from you so far. Even then people may mot be able or willing to help, unless somebody knows the exact brand and model. If you have a User's Manual it should help. It really would help if you also said whether the brakes were hydraulic (fluid filled tubes) or cable (wires from lever to brake). Also what is _wrong_ with them that you want to adjust them? At the very _BASIC_ level, for _cable_, to adjust the brakes, there will usually be a knob on the brake lever that you can turn to adjust the lever movement before the brakes apply. That should be a small amount, but can vary according to taste. The next step is to adjust the pads at the calipers. This will depend on your bike for disc to pad clearance, method etc. After that, you will have to start looking at the pads for wear, if there are other problems. |
