Default Grandfondo Michele Bartoli

This looks like a pretty interesting event

Might just be tempted to have a try at this.

Looks good, Lim. Good chance to utilise those leg-miles you've been putting in.

I'd love to give it a go - Michele Bartoli was (is) a great cyclist and to get the chance to pedal around Tuscany with Bartoli-Tifosi and even perhaps meet Lelli and Bartoli would be superb.

I have to get clearance first though for "her indoors" (ie the wife!).

C'mon Lim, you should be able to 'sell' a long Tuscan weekend to the Minister of the Interior.

Do it right, take her to an agriturismo... why not the nice one that Andrea Tafi set up... so that he can give you a few pointers on winning a Ronde?

I am trying to convince the wife that we need to spend a week or so there!

Beautiful PP.

Thanks for that link - those farmhouses look fantastic.

Tafi's obviously from Tuscany??
He was another great rider - much like Jens Voigt today - he'd go for a flyer and try a breakaway.
