Default How to practice winning pose?

How can I perfect that winning pose that the pros do after they cross the finish line. You know, pedaling while they stretch out their arms in the air. I want to perfect this skill for the next race I win but I can not keep the bike stable with my hands off the handlebar, even if it is for a second or two.

Don't even try it unless you're flying past the line at more than 50kph.

I've seen people come in slowly and try it and waddle... saw a clip on the net where a guy falls off and ends up coming 2nd...

A guy in our team did it last year. Looked beautiful. He motored away from the pack and looked like Robbie McEwen. They took a phot of it and it was on this years program as the main photo...

but....

He was one lap too early... he still had another 7km to go....

Everyone knows Trolls don't win race (their fur gets caught up in the chain), so it won't be a problem.

I perfected no-hands soon after my training-wheels came off....

Based on your post history, my advice would be to learn to just finish with the pack on Cat 5 races... once you can do that, then focus on placing, then focus on upgrading, then you can focus on placing and winning in that category, then you can worry about it.

Even if you were to win a Cat 5, nothing looks more like a sandbagging poseur than a guy that wins a Cat 5 race with both hands raised like a pseudo pro.
