Question Help deciding on new entry level bike for small girl

I am looking for a good entry level hardtail under $500 that is lighter that my GT avalanche 3.0. I am 5'3", weigh 110 lbs, and feel like my bike drags me down. I have been looking at Trek 4500 WSD and Ibex Alpine 450. I tried a Specialized Hardrock women's and thought it was too heavy. Any advice on these bikes or other suggestions?? Thanks - Becca
