Default New Era?

With all the recent classic results is it fair to say that we are at the start of a new era of one day races?.
The likes of frank schleck, alejandro valverde, tom boonen, fillipo pozzato and fabian cancellera look set to me to be the dominating forces of one day races for the next few years.
Paolo bettini doesnt look as sharp as he has done (quick step allowing him to leave next year shows you what they think) and peter van petegem hasnt done anything big for many years now.
So this to me looks like the dawning of a new era

Overall I think that you are right. But I think there will continue to be some surprises... remember that Bettini came in second in the LBL, for example! And PVP was still in the thick of things for some time in the PR...

Yeah bettini's got it in him to pull of some good performances i agree but pvp's going to struggle if he only concentrates on the flemish classics in the next few years like he has done in the past because of a certain mr boonen and his all powerful team. And not forgetting the emergance of cancellara
