Default Finish the Story

Just for fun, complete this story:

The driver pulled his SUV out of the gas station, after spending $70 to fill the tank. He entered the roadway, frustrated by the bumper-to-bumper traffic, and resigned himself to wait it out. To the right, a cyclist zipped by with a T-Shirt that promoted cycling over cars. The motorist thought to himself....

Here's my somewhat idealistic finish:
"I'm going to have to figure out another way to get around. That cyclist seems to be having a good time."

He bought a bike, and the very first time he rode in traffic, his wife, without knowing, ran him over in her Volvo. She collected the insurance money, and had a marvelous year with the pool boy, whom, it seemed, also rode a bicycle.

"Look at that tosser with his girly shaved legs and spandex tights on - hey, that hot babe driving the Merc in front of me is looking into her mirror, I think I got a wink, if only I could show her my manly gut and tell her how many beers and burgers it took to get it that way, she'd be gagging for it"

He bought a bike, and the very first time he rode in traffic he was nailed by some idiot in an SUV who had just pulled out of the gas station where he spent $70 filling it up. When the cops showed up, he explains to them he did'nt see the guy on the bike because he was distracted by some other guy on a bike zipping by traffic, wearing some kind of t-shirt that promoted cycling over cars.

bummer

oh yeah,.......the cyclist wearing the t-shirt that promoted cycling over cars was a pool boy zipping by traffic, eager to get to his new honey, who was the widow of some poor sap in a SUV.

~ beware of cyclists wearing t-shirts promoting cycling over cars.

Wow, that's a pessimistic one. And why the "Beware of Riders who promote cycling over cars"? Just curious.

Man, I dont know.........It was your idea, I was just running with it.

~no seriously, the cyclist wearing the t-shirt was the sly benefactor of other people's misfortune with a "twilight zone" twist. Remember, he's also the pool boy. His t-shirt promoting cycling over cars is irrevelant.
