Hi, I am new to Road riding and I just purchased a used ,but in great condition road bike..I wanted to know what your opinions are on this bike..
It is a 2001 Rocky Mountain Turbo Frame with full 2002 Dura ace and 2002Kysrium Sl wheels w/Look pedals. Is this too much bike to start with? Is this bike good enough for riding aound the neiborhood? Oh, my name(mtbdave) is cause I still mountain bike occassionaly.. Thanks, Dave ![]() Last edited by mtbdave : 20-07.-2003 at 08:30 AM. |

That group and wheelset are amongst the best money can buy ... a bit of web searching on the frame suggest it's made from Scandium tubing, which is the name of Easton's high-end aluminium alloy tubesets.
It sounds as if it's more than good enough for competition use.. think of it not so much as "too much" bike, but a bike your skills can "grow into" ![]()
