Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone is knowledgeable about maintence and care for a Giant NRS1. I'm thinking that this would be a good faq for people with this bike. Thanks Nick |

is there something in particular you would like to address? I think maintenance/care is pretty standard. |

What do you mean by maintenence? Same as with any other bike.
Any specifics you want to know?

Hey,
I was just interested in specifics the dos and don't of maintenence and washing of the bike. I know there's a general way to clean bike but for full suspenion is there anything different that I need to do. At the moment I'd like to do preventive care (if poss) like after every ride cleaning the bike and getting as much dirt off of it so it last longer. In the beginning I was using compressed air and people were saying don't do that. My friends were telling me not to use water just wipe it down and clean the drivetrain with a chain cleaner. I've found other places that say to do wash it with very low pressure water. So at this point I'm not sure what is the right way and the wrong way or if there are any? I know this is a mountain bike and that yes it is gonna get dirty but since it is new I just want to keep it in good condition as long as possible. Thanks Nick |
