Question New pair of wheels

Hi All my first post here

I have a Giant Terrago 2005 Disc Mountain Bike, which I use mainly on the roads but also in the woods on dirtpaths on the odd occasion where no road is available.

I am a larger size rider, 6' 1" and 182 lbs/82kg. The problem is because of crashing up and down curves on the side of the road at about 20mph/30kph I now have a back wheel with a bent rim, that wobbles all over the place and tightning the spokes doesn't help.

I need a new pair of wheels as the front one is slightly bent as well, and am looking to spend around £200 for the pair from:

OR

I do not know where to start, for a 26" MTB wheel, I presume that more, thicker spokes are stronger - but any suggestions!

They make great handbuilt wheels, I & a few friends have got wheels from Merlin before & are all very happy with the build quality, plus you get to spec them how ever you want.
Merlin also are very competitive on price as well so it's worth giving them a look.
Chainreactions a great store & I buy a lot of stuff from them but I have heard there wheel builders not quite as good as the Merlin builder.
