I was busy watching the TDF and one of the presenters mentioned that a few of the teams are using Campy Electronic Groupsets.
Have any of you an idea how this works, looks? He mentioned that it is quite nice and we will be hearing more about it in the future.I must admit I have never heard of it before and would like to know how this works. If you have pic's of it, I would like to see it.

If I remember things correctly, Fabio Saachi has it on his bike as part of a Campag test programme. It's carboned up to the eyeballs so much that it's lighter than Record, even though it includes a battery.

I wonder if this system is quick, especially on the front derailleur with motor instead of solenoids.
Perhaps it doesn't have to be that quick, when I think about it my FD sometimes changes everything but instantly and I survive anyway. |
