I read an interesting report the other day. It said that conservatives(repuplicans) are having babies at an unprecedented rate. While liberals(democrats) baby #'s had greatly decreased.
This makes perfect sense. About half of them are gay (no baby that way) and half have abortions as a form of birth control. ![]() So in about 80 or so years the US should be way better off. ![]() |

I wish I could suffer forever under conseratives. I guess that's wah heaven will be. No child left behind (Bush has put more $ into schools that Clinton ever did) - Bush implemented "No Child Left Behind" which placed time and financial burdens on the schools, yet Bush has never funded it! He's never put the $$ up! Go outside there are libraries everywere - it's spelled "everywhere" and they're all facing huge budget cuts forcing limited hours and services. Many are closing. I have health care (of course you have to work) So do I but more and more are losing it because employers can't afford it. Always has been a deficit (If we owed no one they wouldn't need us) Not always true, but never has an administration spent so much and increased the deficit so quickly. For a "conservative" bush spends like a drunk The rest of the world already hated and envied the US - no they didn't but more clearly do now. Isolationism is bad for the economy. It's beautiful were I live (maybe you should move) That's nice for you. It's nice where I live too. If I had to guess I waould say you're a loser who thinks the Govt. owes you. That's quite an assumption. I'm a special education teacher. I guess that makes me a loser in your book. The govt. owes me by representing me. It doesn't. It represents a small population of evangelical conservatives who are politically active. Go (put down the bong) out and make it on your own. It's funny/sad how people with limited imagination and intelligence have to resort to personal attacks when arguing The best way to judge a country is how they care for their disadvantaged. How do you think the conservative agenda is doing? Last edited by lumpy : 01-04.-2006 at 01:28 AM. |

I don't know about banning, but of your 200 posts, only 4 are about cycling. The rest are political flames and insults. Also, you've only been here for a month and have 200 posts. Don't you work? Still living with the parents huh? |

The truth about the conservative and liberal tag is that the definition is always evolving and changing.
What was true yesterday will be different tomorrow.

some kids want to be nothing like thier parents, they are very concious of thier erronous ways. other kids subconciously fall into the same patterns of violence or drinking (for want of a better example) Quote:

it is true, as those who claim these definitions have morphed them into meaningless terms over recent times.
what was once conservative, is now supporter of big gov't invasive foreign policy, creation of domestic police state, corporate profiteering, real-wage decreasing, personal freedom threatening, international status detroying, international law violating, deceptive propaganda spewing, poverty increasing, social services cutting, deficit building, unemployment and offshoring job losing, extremists who represent anyone but those who voted for them. all this and not even the pretense of the "trickle down" economics theory that crashed and burned during the reagan era debacle. on the other hand, what was once liberal is now moderate, no real social conscious or activism, let alone opposition to the wrapped in the flag gov't for the sake of itself that we find the us so subservient to at present. the emerging term and popular movement of significance is neither of the above. progressive is the true term for those who will not accept the state of affairs as they stand. so for those of you who would label themselves conservative today, understand you are supporting criminal extremists who do not have the voters interests as a concern. the calling people liberals only defines the moderate. those who claim to be liberal are not in the mode of opposition, so this is not a label to take if one is for change out of the present situation. the democrats which have been voted un support bush in all issues, rhetoric aside. as for myself, if you include me as a "liberal", you are not hitting home. start to acknowlege the progressive when you rant over support for the bush criminal syndicate, and the mindset behind support.
