D.I.Y. Lighting system.
HI all, Well summers ending here and our rides are now ending in darkness so we have to turn on the lights, we talking MTB Trail here so the lights have to be bright and study. Have any of you build your own 12v rechargeable lights; I’m toying with the plan of using twp 12v down lighters and building a housing for them. |

I bought a 14.8v li-ion battery from batteryspace.com, 12V 20W bulbs from my local electronics store, and used a marwi nitepro elite housing. Using a premaid housing and switch just made my life a bit easier. Because I'm overvolting the bulb so much I get a very nice bright night. |

The brighter the better, the marwi nitepro elite costs an arm and a leg here that’s the reason I’m building one, but I bet it looks cool. I saw this cunning idea somewhere, where you build the battery into a water bottle and just clip it into the cage. |
