Default Gary Fisher Ged 05 or 06

Well people I think I've found a good lookin bike and one I reckon will stand up to some abuse, jumps, hucks, singletrack, mild downhills etc etc!!
I've seen the 2006 model for £800 in Brown.(not so sure about that) and the 2005 model in black (much more like it) for around the same price. Evans are doing the 05 model at £599 but its a 13" frame only.
So the question is: Whats the difference between the 05 and 06 models (aside from colour).
Also if anyones owned one of these, Is it likely to become a "Trusty Steed"

The alternative is a Norco Sasquatch or similar, but i've heard their a bit on the heavy side....anyways appreciate any help from the wonderful people in this forum.
