Default New Rider

I just wanted to introduce myself and I am prepared to ask a lot of questions

I am very new to Mountain Biking and look forward to do a lot more of it.

I picked up a new '06 Gary Fisher Tassajara after reading a ton of positive reviews on the bike. All the reviews are true and it is one heck of an entry level bike. It's a good solid bike with average components and was very easy to ride! All the reviews stated that the seat was the only drawback and I am not sure if they changed from the '05, but I did not have any problems with it.

I did a nice 3 hour ride at Walnut Creek in Austin and it was just a real blast.

Enough rambling, I can't wait for the next ride!!
