I am interested in purchasing a Miele UA400 from a local shop in my neighbourhood. I searched around the net for information on Miele bicycles. I found a bit of company information, but most of it was related to older bikes miele was making(80-90's).
I was told they went out of business, but found there website, and they seem very much in business. The bike in question is a hardtail Miele UA400 the cost is $500 Canadian. It has Rock shocks(ROCK SHOX JUDY J1) DOuble inforced rims. and a whole bunch of other stuff. Its been marked down from a $1000 says the clerk because it is old stock. 2005Model. Myself I am a novice when it comes to the topic of bicycles. I've only ever rode bikes I got from friends and so forth. Recently I sold my car and have been riding full time. But my bike is falling apart fast. So I need to get something quick. So I'm essentially making my first new bike purchase. Since I could barely find any information on this company. I was hoping someone could comment of Miele at its current stage. Are there bikes known for quality? What do they normally retail for? Has anyone ever heard of the UA400? ANy information would be helpfull.. Thank YOu Mayes1678 |
