I plan to try my hand at a race this year. it will be the first time i have ridden in a real race. what im wondering is this. Tattoos...I have one on the back of each claf, one i still a work in progress and will likely get larger over the next few years. In offcial racing would these have to be covered. And if so what could i wear. the only things i see right now ( could be the season) are thermafleece and the like leg warmers. If i have to wear leg covers i dont want them to be thermafleece as summer heat would likely kill me, are there leg covers that are just plain old spandex or something similar? Hopefully this question int too stupid, as im a major noobie to the sport and dont know very much.
thanks Josh |

No restrictions as far as I can tell - I see plenty of tattoos at local criteriums so if there is a rule it's not enforced much. If there is and they do, you could always use one of those sleeve type bandages to cover yours up. http://www.usacycling.org/forms/2005_USCF_rulebook.pdf |
